What Is Illuvium (ILV)?
The upcoming blockchain game Illumium is set in an open-world, RPG-style environment. It is the players who collect creatures from the illuvial pool called Illuvials, each with their own classes and attributes. A class or affinity is made up of five classes, and each class or affinity has its own strengths and weaknesses. With each battle that you win against other players and with each quest that you complete, your Illuvials will grow stronger and stronger.
ILV (Illuvium) and sILV (SILV) are the two ERC-20 project altcoins of Illuvium. How does Illuvium work?
In 2022, there will be a release of a new open-world role-playing game built on Ethereum called Illumium. Illuvials are creatures that live in a fantasy world in which players travel and fight against them in order to catch and defeat them. Once you have added your monsters to your collection, you will be able to use your monsters when you venture through Illuvium's storyline, complete challenges, and challenge other players.
There is also a variety of tokens from Illumia, including ILVs and sILVs, Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs), which represent unique creatures, cosmetic upgrades, and functional items. Illuvials are very strong and therefore the more powerful a shard must be to catch it successfully, the more powerful the Illuvial will be. If an Illuvial has been injured, it will slowly begin to recover its health in its shard over a period of time. It is possible, however, if you wish to accelerate the process, to pay a fee or make use of items that will accelerate the health regeneration process. Some illuvials are more rare than others and are usually portrayed as shiny, gold, or holographic in appearance.
Illuvium classes
In illuvium, there are five different classes: Fighter, Guardian, Empath, Rogue, and Psion. Detailed information about their differences has not yet been released. Especially when creating hybrid "Ascended" classes, it is important to take into account the class and affinity synergies. For example, a Slayer is formed when the Fighter Illuvial is merged with the Rogue Illuvial. If two Illuvials of the same class are combined, we can make an Illuvial that has very strong skills similar to those of that class.
Illuvium affinities
There are five affinities of illuvium: Air, Nature, Fire, Water and Earth. Depending on their affinity type, each Illuvial deals or takes damage accordingly. A Water Illuvial will have a higher damage output against a Fire Illuvial, but will be less effective against Earth. There are five affinities within Ascended Illuvials and by inputting a mix of the five affinities, one can create an affinity combination like Dust (Air and Earth) or Frost (Air and Water).
Other Illuvium attributes
Illuvials have other attributes besides class and affinity that determine their strength, health, speed, and damage. More you win, the more powerful your Illuvials become. The in-game items you can find, purchase, or make with crafting components will also help you improve certain Illuvial traits.
What is Illuvium (ILV) token?
Illuvium (ILV) is an Ethereum-based token that functions on the ERC-20 protocol, which can be accessed by a variety of uses within the game and system. This price is determined by predicting the game's success and its worth as stakes in staking as well as speculation of the game's success. There are two different forms of token that exist, ILV, and SILV.
Rewards earned through ILV can be used in the game for a year, but sILV can be used immediately. Total supply of ILV and SILV will only ever amount to 7 million ILVs and SILVs combined. The remaining 3 million will be distributed as stake rewards, giving a maximum supply of 10 million coins. The circulating supply will decrease since so many users have staked their coins already. The primary uses of ILV are as follows:
1.When playing the game, players are rewarded with coins if they achieve a certain level of success or achievement.
2.Investors are able to stake ILV in the Illuvium Vault. Participants are rewarded with ILV or sILV.
3.Illuvium's Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) is the platform through which holders can participate to the governance of the game. Illuvinati Council allows for a collaborative process, where members of the community propose game improvement ideas and other changes to the governance model of the game.
sILV and ILV are both ERC-20 tokens, which means users moving ILV and sILV will be required to pay Ethereum gas fees. Since these can sometimes be costly, it remains to be seen whether they will successfully integrate ERC-20 transactions into the game while maintaining an affordable price.
